This $1.5 billion project will replace an outdated three-terminal complex to dramatically improve the passenger experience. Designed with ample space to accommodate future growth, the new 1-million square-foot single terminal building will open with 39 gates, 6,000-space parking and a variety of dining and shopping venues. Special features include:
- Cutting-edge technology solutions: Next-generation automated systems for fire, safety and security.
- Spaces designed for increased inclusivity and accessibility: All ticket counters will be ADA-compliant for those using wheelchairs. There will be quiet and secure places for people with autism, dementia or sensory processing disorders. Other highlights include a Meditation Room, Airplane Simulation Room and Family Play Zone.
The National Gypsum team is pleased to be part of this impressive project. As NGC Sales Representative Matt Shelton says, “It really fills you with a sense of pride to see such a large-scale project covered in Gold Bond®, PermaBASE®, ProForm® and PURPLE® products. Our manufacturing teammates deserve so much credit here – all the products were manufactured during the pandemic and, so far, this project is on schedule for completion in 2023.”
